Driver History

Season 5 (2013):

During Dan’s rookie season he joined Woijznelj (Laura, Woj, Adam) team part time and then went onto to finish the season with Peter Newman Media race team. Notably in the final round at Brands Hatch - GP securing my first victory when our team had a strong finish with us bringing the cars home in 1-2-3.

Season 6 (2014):

In Dan’s first full season he joined up with Peter Newman Media and completed all of the races. Being consistent and competitive throughout the season meant Craft finished the season in 9th.

Although this season Dan didn’t make the podium he managed 11/30 top 10 finishes in a competitive field and learnt valuable lessons for future seasons

Season 7 (2014):

A breakout season for Craft where he finished the short season runner up. The team (Peter Newman Media including Simon Field & Peter Newman) and Dan had good form throughout. Finishing 2nd in both Drivers and Team championship was a jump up in performance and consistency for Craft.

During this season Dan had two victories and thirteen top 10’s in 18 races

Season 8 (2014/2015):

During Craft’s fourth BSRTC season he struggled for form and consistency. Getting caught up in race incidents throughout the season his finishing record plummeted to 78%. With this being taken into account Craft only finished 14th.

The highlight of Craft’s season was putting the car on pole at Bathurst and leading every lap to take Pole / Race 1 win. A feat rarely achievable

Season 9  (2015):

The first BSRTC PRO series commenced with Craft being a part-time driver for Peter Newman Media. After one of the full-time drivers dropping out after round 5 Dan took part full-time until the end of the regular season trying to get into the showdown via a wild card spot. With two victories to his name (Race 2 at Montreal and Race 3 at Road America) he just missed out on points and wildcard entry to make the showdown. At this time Craft decided to retire for the remainder of the season finishing up 26th in the championship.

Season 10 (2015/2016):

Craft was back full-time for the winter season of 15/16 joining a new team on the grid, Friction Racing. The short winter series was frenetic with consistency and finishing key for the championship. Getting caught up in incidents early on Craft struggled for consistency but showed he had the raw pace winning 3 races in the short season at Brands Hatch, Zolder and Motegi. Craft finished the season in 6th.

Season 11 (2016):

For BSRTC Pro series Season 2 Dan joined an exciting driver line up @ Friction Racing. After a terrible start to the season Craft rallied back with 10 wins in the regular season to secure his showdown spot and start the showdown in 4th place. With a consistent run and smart driving throughout the showdown including tallying a couple more victories Craft finished the season in 3rd place
